teacher: you’re 5 minutes late
Me all the time
i don't wanna fight, gonna leave it behind.
I never knew how true and realistic and non-exaggerated this episode was until I went to college.
It’s waking up early in the morning with a smile on your face knowing you’re going to see him. It’s staying up late just to talk to him even though you ended up having nothing to say. It’s having that one guy on your mind while you’re trying to take a math test. It’s waiting to see his name on your phone with message telling you how lucky he is to have you in his life. It’s staying up until 11:11 to make a wish for them even though you know it’s not real. It’s stealing his pen in class so he can wrap his arms around you just to get it. It’s purposely not bringing a sweater to school when it’s cold and rainy outside just so you can wear his. It’s that time you spent an hour trying to find an imperfection about him and you just find—-none. The butterflies and the chill on your spine you get whenever you see him walk into class. It’s knowing that you will never lose feelings for him even if you’ve been married for 20 years and have 6 kids. It’s then you realize you’ve fallen in love and no one can replace that one person that you’d give your life for.
